Had the butter chicken lunch special and it was fabulous. Quite a large portion, and was arguably the best I have ever had. Staff was friendly (got a free appetizer), and the prices were fair.

Dinner last night was wonderful! Everyone working was friendly and inviting. The food was so good! Portions were plentiful and filled with flavour. Prices are very reasonable. We loved it so much, we'll definitely be coming back!

I cannot even begin explain how amazing this place is. Firstly they have the BEST Indian food on the planet! It’s simply the best; flavor, portion, price and authenticity!Second the owners are the most caring people I have ever come across in business. They value their clients, remember your visits and even ask you questions about what you talked about last time you dined! This is a true testament of small business and how it should be run!

Food is great! Portions are average size, same as you’d find at most Indian restaurants. Service was excellent. Only complaint is that some of the tables are so close to each other you’re pretty much back to back with another person if you get one of the smaller tables, but not a big deal.

This is our go to place in Vancouver for Indian - both dine in and take away. Their Vegetable Jalfrezi, Bombay Aloo and Shahi Paneer are our typical mains. Vegetable Pakora and Papri Chat are our favourite appetizers. Each person who works there (from our experience) is friendly, kind, and do everything they can to make sure that your visit is a pleasant one. So happy to support them and hope that they keep making delicious food for many more years.

Delicious, authentically prepared Indian food, friendly staff. Definitely an under appreciated gem. The prices were reasonable, the food filling, and the spice just right.I ordered the special combo lunch, so 8 got to try a good variety and nothing disappointed. The tandoori chicken was tender and tasty, the butter chicken had smooth and creamy sauce, and the rice and nan were great as well.The decor is new and felt welcoming and authentic.

Wonderful restaurant, exceptional service, and amazing food! Until tonight, I actually really have not enjoyed Indian cuisine. Tonight, the dishes were amazing and I truly loved them! Thank you to the staff who went above and beyond!

Incredible Indian food, at a reasonable price, with quality service. I am so happy to have found an Indian food restaurant that checks all the boxes. They've recently done some renovations so the inside is even better than before. They offer a 10% takeout discount too! My favourite restaurant in the city!

We were staying in the area and dropped in. I'm very glad we did. The food was absolutely tremendous. We had a vegan eater with us, who found suitable items on the menu as well. The service was very attentive and hospitable. We wish the restaurant was in Calgary, where we live. xcellent food from a vegetarian’s perspective, topped by friendly & excellent service and wonderful, accurate recommendations for food as well as specific dietary needs (Jain food) made it an worthwhile experience. They never disappoint.

First time having Indian food, and I was not disappointed. Probably one of the best restaurants in Vancouver, in my opinion. The staff was also super friendly, but I was most impressed with the owner. He was working alongside his employees when I was there, and I could tell from my conversation with him that his restaurant is his passion. You can't beat healthy food backed up by a passionate owner and staff. The moment you taste the food, you are able to tell that this place puts their all into it and love what they do. I will be visiting again when I come back to Vancouver.

We recently went to Raga Restaurant for the first time - didn't know much about the restaurant, but knew from looking at their photos the food looked amazing. Raga did not disappoint! From the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left, what a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming and they were even thoughtful enough to recommend dishes (their menu options are extensive) and let us know portion sizes so we wouldn't over order. The interior is quiet and clean - loved how the seating was arranged too. We were in a bank of seats which creates a cozy nook for conversation. Even though the restaurant was busy, it was not too loud to hear conversation. The food was wonderful - definitely our new favourite Indian restaurant! We will be back for sure! Thank you Raga for a terrific evening!

I am not a fan of spicy food but the way they cook is so impressive that instead of just burning, it makes everything really delicious. I went two times for dinner and also ordered the lunch menu to go, and I'll keep doing it. The mango Lassi is unforgettable. It's really hard to find a restaurant that makes me say "omg that's so good...." every single time I order.

I had their Tandoori lunch special that came with 1 whole nann bread, 2 pieces of chicken, a yogurt, a type of minced meat, and some curry. Overall, the food was tasty and I loved the nann. Soft and chewy, just perfect. The place is usually pretty quiet during lunch time so it's great to have business lunch. This is my go to place for Indian food near my work.

RagaCusine North Indian Raga is open again after renovations.It was a pleasant surprise to note its old familiarity preserved with newer changes, much more appealing and inviting.Host Raj was friendly as usual and made sure we were comfortable.We noted few changes in the menu.Food was excellent and our choice of lamb curry and butter chicken never disappointed.We would definitely try again but than there are so many choices worth trying.Raga has maintained its quality of food and has created a pleasent ambience that makes you want to come again.I would defn recommend, Raga, top on the list for indian cusine.

Amazing Indian food, and followed with yummy mango lassi. Even the staples like butter chicken are full of exciting flavors and spices. Try the veggie byriani and the garlic nan too if you can. Lunch specials are well priced!

Awesome place! Thr naan is amazing. A little bit more pricey than you would think. Ended up spending over $70 between 3 people and we didn't order too much.

Food is flavorful and authentic. I can definitely understand why it's so highly rated. The service is especially incredible, and something that is of great importance to the owners. I could tell that they wanted everyone to truly be happy with their experience. I like how they came to each table to make sure everyone was happy and if anything they could do. Additionally, the food is amazing and all for a reasonable price.

Fabulous food! Every time I come here the servers and staff are super friendly. The food is healthy, light, and delicious all at the same time.

Whether you are dining or taking out, the food is always incredible and the staff is amazing! They really go over and above to provide the best service and are very friendly. The food is full of flavour and my favourite is the wrap for lunch or for dine in I love the sampler, which allows you to try a bit of everything!

I had the Tandoori lunch special. It was very affordable, considering how much food I got (I was STUFFED afterward) and how amazing everything tasted. On top of that, the people who served me were very friendly and courteous, and the interior provided a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming again.

Food is always amazing and the service is even better! The staff, management and owners are so lovely and welcome you with such fantastic hospitality. By far my favourite, I compare every Indian restaurant to them and they are always superior. Highly recommended.

I've been going here for the 3 yrs I have been living in Vancouver but they have been in business a long time. Very delicious and authentic Indian food with Indian cooks and the nicest Family owners and staff. The other evening I ordered a couple take away entres and they put in a (free) rice because they thought I forgot to order one. I can't remember any place I have ordered take out on a regular basis ever doing that :) They just renovated and the place looks very nice and is cozy. It's a perfect place for groups, date night or anyone who loves Indian food. Try the Butter paneer or Sag Paneer if you don't eat chicken and want vegetarian. Both ways are delicious. And always get the condiments which enhance the food like Mango chutney, alsoTamarind and mint sauce if you're a newbie to eating Indian cuisine.

Amazing restaurant! This place has been around for 37 years and it shows. They know what they are doing. We were part of a large party and they provided accomdating quick service. As for the food, delicious! I mean every dish we ordered was exceptional. The Aloo Gobhi was fantastic. The curry, vindaloo and butter chicken had so much flavor and spice, just perfect! They have specialty freshly baked stuffed nans that they are known for. They were great and unique. We ordered the potato and garlic. I will be going back to try the other flavors. You have to try this place.

We've been going to Raga for over eight years and they are consistently awesome. Butter chicken, prawns or the off menu lamb are great! Baby eggplants and saag paneer are also delicious. Bring your appetite!

I’m not a fan of Indian Restaurants but this place was so lovely! The service was so friendly and attentive. The fish was so tender and the food overall was delicious. The ambience was great. Would definitely come here again.

What can I say that hasn't been said? I've eaten at Raga's for about 8 years now and I really love the deliciously prepared dishes, my favorite being the lamb or chicken biryani. The naan bread plain or stuffed is out of this world. I heard that their bread was voted as one of the best in Vancouver. The owners and staff are very nice people. They love what they do and it shows. I occasionally take some friends there and they fall in love with the food. And their prices are surprisingly affordable. Only well-established and great restaurants like this one stay in business for such a long time. I highly recommend it.

Stumbled upon this place quite by accident, and was intrigued by the mention of East Indian cuisine. I'd imagined that they carried specialties from the eastern parts of india, but I'd soon find out that that wasn't the case, and the label was a bit of a misnomer. That said, the food itself was pretty good, and the service was excellent. This might be one of the best Indian restaurants in the Granville area.
